Sleepover

The McGuire boys came for a sleepover, which was lots of fun. The week after they left, Abigail basically transitioned herself to her Big Girl Bed (twin-sized). Thanks for the help, boys!


Abigail sure loves her buddies, Hudson (4) and Easton (2).

Abigail likes looking through Mommy's catalogs, full of fun kid stuff. I think she is making her Christmas list for Santa - hee hee! :)

Abigail enjoyed playing with her two buddies, Julia (6) and Ella (4), in the tent they passed along to her. (Sadly, these neighbors recently moved to Texas.)

Of course, Mommy had to read stories with Abigail in the tent.

Abigail loves the Wiggles so much - she and Daddy even sing their songs while strumming the guitar. Hopefully, Justin will post a clip of this at the other website because it is quite adorable.

We never introduced...

...Abigail's cousin Rachael Mckenzie! This cutie was born to Jeremy (Justin's older brother) and Melanie at the beginning of this year. Isn't she a doll?! We look forward to meeting Rachael as well! From what we hear, Rachael receives lots of attention from big sisters Natalie and Heather.

Now Introducing...

...Isabel Jane - born to Carl and Katie. Also pictured are Isabel's big sisters and brother. Congratulations, guys!!! We look forward to meeting Isabel.

Introducing...

...Bridget Anne! This is Abigail's newest cousin, Rick and Ellie's fifth child (and fourth daughter). She was born on July 6th, weighing in at 8 lb 3 oz and measuring 21 3/4". We cannot wait to meet Bridget - what a cutie!!

Hopefully we will soon have a photo of our next niece who will be born any day now!

4th of July

On July 4th, we enjoyed the celebration at the base beach. Can you find Karen and Abigail in this photo? :)


We hung out with three other families we were stationed with in Wyoming, all of whom are now stationed in Hawaii. This was a lot of fun, and we got a good laugh about the hailstorm happening back in Cheyenne!!!

Mom and Abigail, waiting for the fireworks. Abigail had so much fun playing with a light-up watch our friend Lynn gave her, as well as a synthetic sparkler she borrowed from Gabby. Sitting behind us is BriLee on her dad's lap; BriLee just turned two, and it is fun to watch these two girls play together.

The fireworks were spectacular! We never have sat so close to the origin - they sure were loud! From the field where we were sitting, we just tilted our head backs for an amazing view, right over the water. Abigail was mesmerized, sitting perectly still the whole time, occasionally clutching Mommy's arms and eventually sucking her thumb.
