Moving Day...

...well, one of three moving days, anyway. These photos were taken on a Monday. The prior Friday we had about 1,000 pounds of our possessions packed, to be sent by airplane to Chicago. Monday and Tuesday the movers packed out the bulk of our household goods (minus what would be going by mail, on our person, in the trash and donations) to be sent to storage in California until we want it delivered to a new home, wherever that might be. These were sad, sad days as our pending departure from Hawaii materialized into reality. In God's goodness and beauty, we had roses of various brilliant colors blooming on our dead-looking bushes in the backyard on our moving days. How fun is that?!

You see the above crates? There were about 6 or 7 total to be sent via boat to CA, and we really hope that everything makes it to us in tact - eventually. We also still have a good amount of stuff in storage in WY from before we moved to Hawaii. There are pieces of our hearts and possessions all over the United States!
