Neighborhood Potluck

The "Loopie Ladies" on our block organized a going-away party for us, to be held at the park. However, it had rained sporadically and heavily all day, so we changed it to the carport we share with Tyler and Janna; this worked out perfectly. Abigail's outdoor toys won't be packed until Monday and she has lots of bubbles and chalks to share. We set up lawnchairs and folding tables under the carport while the kids played in the driveway.

Great food - thanks, ladies!

If you click on the picture to view the larger size, you will see Abigail is going straight for Stephanie's homemade cake while I "encourage" her to stay away. :)

We have been so blessed by a fantastic neighborhood. There are tons of little kids who congregate year-round at the best park of the three located on our loop and there is a Ladies' Night Out about once a month. Our hearts overflow with gratitude to all who have made this a great place to live. Through God, the gifts of the Air Force abound.
